Everyone we know who has ever played Age Of Empires cant wait for Microsoft to create and release Age Of Empires 4.
Age Of Empires has been simply amazing over the years, and we have spent many weekends till the early hours playing it. By the time Age Of Empires 4 is released we will have a worthy team of rulers.
Our wives and girlfriends easily took to this game and the kids love it too. If only I had a pound coin for every time we finished a game, someone would say, "lets play again" ! It is simply perfect for a good, stable, reliable network game which the whole family enjoys.

We at age-of-empires.net just cant get enough of AOE. We still play Age Of Empires 2 today. Age Of Empires 3 is very good and is great fun playing with friends over the internet. Anyone who has played AOE will agree that it is worth every penny, and every hour of their life spent playing it! Age Of Empires 4 will be no different. Whilst there is no confirmation that Age Of Empires 4 is even in production, we will let you know on this page the moment any news for a released date. Age Of Empires 4 should be the best in the series and we are confident that Microsoft will not spoil this great game. |

We started the new year with great anticipation that we would hear some news on the creation/release of a new Age Of Empires 4 game. Alas, we are still to be updated with anything reliable. Rumors are rife around the internet, suggesting that the game is almost ready for release, but this is simply not the case. Prior to any games release, the gaming industry are informed via Press Releases when a company is contracted to start production on a new game. Next to follow would be basic information on the game and preliminary drawings etc to help drum up interest and investment. Once the game is in full production, various screenshots and interviews are given to promote the new game further. We haven't seen any of this! New games take many years of development, with all this in mind, it would suggest that we are quite some time away from seeing a new release of Age Of Empires 4. This is very disappointing news for all us Age Of Empires fans, it really was very exciting to think that we might be blessed with a new game, sadly, this doesn't seem to be the case just yet.
